Adventure Broad Media is the evolving media arm of The Adventure Broad, bringing together storytelling, journalism, filmmaking, podcasting, and a healthy dose of curiosity.
From the pages of Motif Magazine to independent film projects, podcast conversations, and original video content, Adventure Broad Media is about one thing: telling compelling stories about interesting people, places, ideas, and experiences.
Because every community has stories that deserve a bigger audience—and sometimes the best stories are found when you simply start asking questions.
What I Do
Writing & Journalism
Through my work with Motif and other media outlets, I explore the people, businesses, artists, organizations, and ideas that make Rhode Island—and beyond—interesting. My approach is conversational, curious, and focused on finding the story behind the story.
Filmmaking & Video
From short-form storytelling to documentary projects and original series concepts, I’m developing films and video projects that put real people and their stories at the center. Some are serious. Some are funny. Some are wonderfully unexpected. All are driven by curiosity.
Podcast Production
Great conversations can become great stories. Adventure Broad Media develops and produces podcast concepts that give interesting people a place to share their expertise, experiences, perspectives, and personalities—with authenticity rather than a script full of corporate speak.
Original Media Projects
I’m also developing original film, television, video, and digital media concepts that explore everything from Rhode Island's creative community to travel, second-act adventures, women's stories, and the wonderfully messy business of being human.
My Approach
I believe the best media isn't just about what happened. It's about who was there, why it mattered, and what we can learn from the people living the story. My work combines journalism, relationship-building, interviewing, marketing, and storytelling to create media that connects people rather than simply broadcasting at them. And yes, there will probably be a little adventure involved.
Currently in Development
Adventure Broad Media is a work in progress—and that's part of the fun. Current and developing projects include film and video production, podcast projects, original storytelling concepts, and ongoing writing and journalism work with Motif Magazine.
